No one judges you for your race, religion, sexual orientation, the fandoms you’re a part of, what movies you like, and the singers and actors you enjoy. It’s so refreshing.

Now that I’m done with bullshit statements. Let me get to the point of this post. No, Tumblr is not a loving community. It is the farthest thing from a “loving community” of people. I’ve been on this site for about 3 years now on my personal account and in those 3 years, I’ve witnessed more bigotry and blind hate than I have ever witnessed in my 26 years of living. This isn’t an over-exaggeration.

This site is filled to the brim with hateful, angry, ignorant, petty, and immature people who blindly hate things and then turn around and say that Tumblr is a loving community. Bull. Shit. You can’t beat the shit out of someone and then turn around and say you’re a pacifist.

Everybody hates on everything. And I don’t mean your simple dislike of something. I mean, hate. Blind, rage-filled hate. Writing entire posts about the things they hate, leaving hateful messages (anon or not) in people’s inbox, reblogging simply to state their hate over and over again. Imagine if, for example, you told someone that you liked Jimmy Neutron and they say they disagree and that Dexter’s Laboratory is a better show. Okay, fine. Different opinions, right? Now imagine if each time you saw that person, all he or she talks about is how much better Dexter’s Lab is than Jimmy Neutron, all while calling you names. I don’t know about you but I’d probably push them into oncoming traffic just to shut them up. It’s ANNOYING.

I interact with different kinds of people on a daily basis. My job is basically all about that. The people I meet have different opinions on certain subjects than me. But like respectable human beings, we respect each others opinions and leave it at that. Then I come home and sign in to Tumblr and all I see is, “You’re wrong, I’m right, shut the fuck up. Your argument is invalid. Justin Bieber sucks and he needs to die and take his fans with him. Omg i hate Twilight so much, Kristen Stewart needs to die and gtfo. Gay marriage is disgusting let’s kill all the gay people!1! Atheists good luck in hell bitch! Omg Christians you god doesn’t exist go die somewhere” 

It’s like assholes all over the world are all confined on one site, talking shit behind their computers because they can.

There’s a very small portion of Tumblr who are respectable enough to not bash other people for the things they like or believe in. They might not agree, but they don’t spend time and energy hating those people. If someone doesn’t like something, it does not affect your life in any way so why spend your time and energy bashing them for having a different opinion. Move on with your life. I suggest the rest of you take heed to this advice and do everyone else a favor and shut up.

And before anyone asks “Why are you still on Tumblr if you hate it so much? (because I know someone will, you’re that predictable), I’m still on Tumblr because I happen to follow some people who I have nice conversations with. There are also some funny things I like to reblog and it’s a release for me. But when I see someone who’s just filled with unneccesary hate, I unfollow them. Simple.

So yeah, get the fuck over it.

How someone says they “hate religion” and then go on to bash Christians. As if Christianity is the only religion that exists in the world. It only makes the person saying this look like an ignorant asshole.

Christianity might the more popular religion, but it’s not the only religion. Scientology is a religion, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam. The list goes on. 

So if you wanna say you hate Christianity, then say you hate Christianity. If you say you hate religion, then don’t go on a 10 page rant bashing only Christianity. Get it right or shut the hell up.

So, is this whole feud the media’s way of promoting the movies? Oh please. You’re making more idiots out there do nothing whole day but sit infront of their computer making comparisons and hate posts about Twilight. What a waste of time and electricity.

Look people out there who are not so open-minded, when they say it’s the new Twilight, they’re just saying that it’s the new bestselling-series-turned-into-a-movie-that-will-become-another-hit. You don’t have to put yourself in a bad mood just because you heard or read that somewhere. Geez. Try to understand.

First Harry Potter, then Hunger Games. Okay, so all novels in the future will be compared to Twilight? Well you’re just making Twilight more popular. Twilight must be flattered. You have your opinion but doesn’t mean you can be tatcless and rude.

See? Lionsgate will give us the Breaking Dawn trailer during the showing of Hunger Games. Why? Because that’s how business works. So use your brain before you start complaining. All these publicity and feud blah blah blah are just the media’s way of promoting.

And one more thing, it’s unprofessional if some of the cast and crew of the movie would “degrade” Twilight. We don’t need to blow others candles just to make ours shine brighter.

Hunger Games will shine on its own because it is a great series, no need for comparisons and degrading other novels. Learn to RESPECT.

I sat here for like an hour trying to crack it. Then I remembered that you can click on “Forgot my password” and…. yeah, I’m an idiot.

My mind has been occupied with so much crap, I haven’t even been on the computer in days. I was just in London for a week and seriously, it was amazing. Simply amazing. My mother’s from London and my dad’s from Australia and I’d only ever been to Australia but it was finally nice to see and learn a little bit about where my mom grew up and how she grew up and all that. Pretty cool.

So now I’m back home and completely preoccupied with work. Filled in on the latest Political news and, as usual, Rick Santorum’s an ass and Rush Limbaugh’s a bigoted blockhead. So basically, nothing’s changed! That’s always good to know.

Because I don’t really care.

But good luck to whoever was nominated. Here’s hoping Rooney Mara bags “Best Actress.” Although that’s unlikely. It will probably be Meryl, who will in turn look so surprised at the fact that she won. And other actresses will just have the biggest, “-____-” face on.

I’m kidding. But seriously, good luck to everyone. I, on the other hand, am incredibly tired and I’m gonna go pass out for 15 hours. If I’m lucky.
